| Iron
- A basic element in abundance underground that takes several
forms in groundwater. Ferric (visible/un-dissolved) that
colors the water, or Ferrous (invisible/dissolved) that stays
clear in water. Both can cause yellow, orange, red or
brown discoloring of the water and fixture stains. Full
water chemistry determines best treatment method. Samples
with levels at 0.30 ppm or higher should seek correction. | |
